Mob in Fashion in Design Fringe 2022

‘Mob in Fashion’ show at the Linden New Art Gallery in August 2022, in Melbourne featured three First Nations Artist presenting one wearable art look each. Alongside Lillardia Briggs-Houston and Cassie Leathem, Delvene was invited to create a wearable art look. Warrajamba Mermaid, featured three garments including locally gathered from Minjerribah North Stradbroke Island - quampie shells stitched with natural fibres onto a linen jacket displayed on cotton tree branches, a natural dyed and printed linen top + natural fibre and linen skirt with a shell feature.
