With North Stradbroke island being the second largest sand island in Australia, ‘Sandhills’ depicts a section of these Sandhills across North Stradbroke Island. Originally created on silk with natural pigments, acrylic paint and fabric ink, ‘Sandhills’ joins a Quandamooka clay map textile also with natural pigments.
